TROPICANA 21ST

Yep ya read correct. I did just turn the big 21! 

For my 18th birthday I threw a tropical themed party and I don't think i'll ever completely remember that night but I do know it was the best time of my damn life. So for my 21st I did it allllllllll over again. Naturally I found the best tropical costume I have ever seen online, bought it and wore it with pride. I know what you're thinking it kinda looks like a big dick... but don't be fooled it's a sassy flamingo. 

I've only ever attended a very small amount of 21st parties in my life time and i've always known them to be all cute with slide shows and speeches. But no one ever told me how warm and fuzzy you feel when it's your own. Can’t even put into words how nice it is to look around your house and see all your faves having a boogy. So if you're one of the tropical punters who came and partied with me, thank you. 

p.s Shout out to Kritty B for moving half of the universe with that speech. Ya got me gooooooooooood & Shout out to Bridget for putting all that time n love into making the cutest lil book.

LAZY AF

I'm wearing ~ House Of Cards playsuit, Lazy Oaf tee + Comme Des Garcon Converse

There’s a ridiculously long list of all my fave things in life but when it comes to clothing brands. My top two faves are Lazy Oaf and House of Cards. So when this beautiful satin playsuit I already had in royal blue walked into my life I obviously had to pair it with a bitta Lazy Oaf. 

My token look is literally a 6 foot toddler and this doesn’t stray from that at all. & when I say 6 foot toddler my outfit always involves a pair of sneakers, a cute little under t-shirt and some sort of pinafore or playsuit.

ON THE WALL

Well hello hello 2017. I took taking a holiday to a whole new level and neglected one of my favourite places on the internet for almost 2 months!. (my blog) I'm back feelin' fresh & super motivated. 

I've officially graduated from my Graphic Design course and currently working on a neeeewww website and portfolio. But aside from all of that New Years chat, late last year I photographed some of my chalk illustrations and created a small print series and put them up for sale on my website. teesbyalex.com and never told ya'll.

Hello lovers, the weather at home has been an absolute dream but unlucky for me I've still got 2 weeks of my Graphic Design course and crazy christmas shifts at work so I barely get to enjoy it. Currently hanging for my next full day off so I can do this all over again. 

Also I picked up this sweet striped swim suit at Myer the other week and I'm lovvvvving it!

In June 2014 I thought it would be a fabulous idea to start designing and selling tee's, fast forward to November 2016 I'm still doing just that but having sold to customers all over the world, collaborated with other brands and now setting up a stall and seeing so many strangers give my tee's some love. It all feels real now. Tee's by Alex has always been an internet based brand that would slowly transition into a store. So today was the first time I've had face to face interactions with all my customers, the love and compliments from strangers and friends has left me with so many happy feels and I'm beyond excited to keep doing this thang and eventually open up my own shop and grow this lil brand!

LEVEL UP

I'm wearing: Urban Outfitters cap, 'Level up' tee by Tee's by Alex, Bomber from Storenvy and House of Cards skirt. 

It's currently 28 degrees out and it has been this way for a couple of weeks so editing pictures that were taken in the colder months has got me down. I love a good bomber jacket and this baby pink satin beauty walked into my life at the complete wrong time. It's far too hot to even pretend I'm not burning up in this adorbs lil jacket. So an outfit post will have to help me wait a whole entire year to wear it again :(
