GOING OUT

I'm wearing: Forever 21 skirt + socks, Asos Ren boots, BooHoo mesh tee, Sportsgirl purse and Asos top

Club fashion is a pretty tragic situation if you ask me and I thought i’d shed some light on my go- to going out outfit!

When I haven't already worn my favourite shirts a few weekends in a row I usually opt for a lace or mesh top. I have quite the selection of these tops as they are my favourite thing to wear out.
Today I wore a little top from ASOS under my mesh tee but the options are endless! I also love wearing sequin and plain bralette’s under my lace/mesh tops.

I’m not a big fan of the small top, super tight skirt and white clunky heels paired with the cheapest fake tan on the shelf It seems to be the look that every other girl is going for. (Which is fine just not my style before you freak out in the comments)
So after being legal for a year now I have finally found what I feel most comfortable wearing out!

If you're fresh to the clubbing scene… here are some things to consider when choosing an outfit :
  • Will your sweat be noticeable after groovin' too hard
  • If you come across the problem of having to walk home.. will you last the trek in those shoes?
  • If you bend over is your butt on show?
  • Is that too much cleavage?
  • Do you really want people to see your drinking belly?
Leave some mystery with your outfits no one needs to see everything at first glance. I always say either choose cleavage and not too much leg or too much leg and no boobies.

I’m off to a festival in Brisbane tomorrow so i’ll talk to you guys in a few days with all the deets and what I wore there!

DIY FLUFFY SANDALS

I'm Wearing: Topshop shirt, Paint It Red skirt, DIY sandals and Sunglasses from a festival

So the fluffy heel trend is pretty much in all our faces but me being a 6foot giant it’s not really ideal for me to wear heels all the time and I hadn't seen any fluffy sandals. So I decided to create some of my own for a ridiculously cheap price. I got sandals from Rubi shoes for ten dollars, one metre of fluff for five dollars and glue for ten dollars.
I didn't bother photographing step my step instructions on how to make these sandals because I think you guys will be able to do it just fine!

YOU WILL NEED:
Sandals or shoes of your choice
Glue (i used araldite because it's meant to be super strong)
Scissors
Measuring tape
a plastic plate & knife (Don’t use your mums fav cutlery to spread the glue because it really doesn't come off)

Let me know in the comments below if you’ve made some of these yourself, I would love to see!

WHATS IN MY BAG

Today's post: WHAT'S IN MY BAG!! Um lot's of activity objects that probably don’t need to be there but I have a very short attention span. Well, you know how it is when your family packs up the fridge for a family day out... you need to be ready for any situation!

Phone: Because we all need to keep up to date

Purse: It's way too adorable not to enjoy and shopping, just shopping full stop

Book: Just started this book! So I cant leave it at home

Nintendo DS: Old habits die hard. Just the odd game

Sunglasses: I like being able to see... so protect those eyes ladies

Headphones: They're pretty ridiculous, but they deliver a fabulous personal disco

IPod: Beats. Always

Lipgloss: I recently watched The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and realised pale pink lip gloss is fabulous

Sharpie: Still questioning why I have this

Hair tie: My hair occasionally feels like a heat blanket, so yes

Loose change: Just germs really, not a huge fan, but having money is great

Lip Balm: I love this lip balm! It's natural and does wonders

Keys: God knows where they went

I'm constantly switching bags and cleaning them out so I realise I'm not photographing the disgusting gum packets and countless receipts, but they do exist. I didn't bother posting all the images of my most used bags as the lighting was horrendous and I'm no photographer! But they are scattered all over my blog.

FRIED

I'm Wearing: White Pepper Egg Smock Dress, New Look Boots and Topshop Socks

If you know me personally you will know I have a little obsession with fried eggs...It all started a few months before I went to Japan last year and ever since that I cannot get enough. My egg sock collection is growing rapidly and I really don't see an end to that any time soon. I saw this dress whilst scrolling through Topshop and lost my shit I said to myself  you are buying this no matter what the price is. I won't lie it was definitely above my price range for a standard smock dress but I couldn't resist. Turns out it was definitely worth the money the dress is super soft, has sheer lining and has pockets which is fabulous!
As for these New Look boots I am really not sure yet. They feel very music festival but who in their right mind would wear heels to a festival. It's a confusing mix I don't know how to feel yet.

Anyway I was thinking the other day I never credit who takes my photos on this blog and the person is actually my mum! So shout out to my mum for putting up with me and my blogging needs.

BLANK

I'm Wearing: Forever 21 Skirt, YRU Flat-forms, Top shop Socks, ASOS top and Choies Mesh Jacket

Hey pals,
Today has been ridiculously hot I can't even deal. I have been wanting to show you this fabulous jacket for a while now! I bought it from Choies online  store and to be honest I really wouldn't reccomend using Choies I had some serious troubles buying this precious jacket. The story is pretty boring it involves me furiously yelling at a man behind my computer screen god knows where on their online assistance chat.
On another note I am still completely obsessed with my YRU flatforms and I still haven't broken my ankle! Yahoo

p.s Please excuse the quality of these photos my camera died just as we started to shoot so we had to resort to iPhone! Bloody typical

SEQUINS SEQUINS SEQUINS

I'm Wearing: Calvin Klein Sequin skirt, Custom tee made by me (for sale soon) and New Look Boots

Hello Hello, I am finally taking a break from Sims 4 to post this blog post for ya'll.

Today's post is all about sequins because lately I have been going a bit sequin crazy. First off I will be selling heaps of sequin embellished tee's designed by me in my new shop which is coming very soon this tee included, I will let you all know when its officially launched!
Secondly today I went sequin shopping to re-stock on some colors and I randomly thought "oh I've got heaps of time I'll just check if Trade Secret has anything" Pretty much thinking Trade Secret is usually a shit pile of Roxy and surf brand junk so I wasn't feelin' it. I cruise on over to the sale rack and a shiny sequiny skirt is looking into my soul I pick it up not even looking at the size and then I see another I actually start to lose my mind a little grinning at this rack then I'm like alright the sale rack was okay I will just look at the full priced area. I START TO LOSE MY MIND sequin shit everywhere I literally grab everything sequin and try it on. This seems all very alarming but not to worry I only left with the 2 skirts from the sale rack both priced at $20... it was too good to be true.

EXPANDIN'

I'm Wearing: American Apparel skirt, YRU flat-forms and Tee's by me!

Sippin’ on an ice tea right now whilst writing this blog post for ya’ll. This post has been sitting open on my computer all week and I still have no idea why I haven't posted it yet.

So Basically If I didn't already design enough food related apparel heres some more for you all. These tee’s are the beginning of a sequin and felt range of tees! I have lots of designs in the works and I'm excited to show you all.
Both of these tees combined took over 7 hours to create.. My eyes burned from staying up to late and my hands cramped up from hand sewing sequins. I now completely feel for any person who sews sequin covered apparel on the daily. All those ladies and men out there need some serious love this shit ain’t easy.

So you’re probably thinking “yeah alright Alex.. life sucks.. Just tell me how much and where?”

Well.. I'm opening a online store where you can purchase any of my original graphic tee designs and also my new collection of tee’s that are completely made by me! I’m still trying to come up with a cute name for that collection so if you've got any ideas.. Let me know.

The prices will range from $25-$60 for a tee but it all depends on how long each T-shirt takes to be made. I will let you guys know when my store is officially open!!
