PROJECT

So for my recent art assignment I chose to make a garment covered in DIY fabric flowers, the garment has just under 200 flowers and each took roughly 5 minutes to make. I wont go into full detail about what my task was, except that it was on the idea of 'found beauty'. The photos above were photographed to submit as part of my assignment.

So mid last week I went down to Brisbane to see one of my favourite bands Tame Impala with my best friend who very kindly got me the tickets for my birthday. Sorry for the iPhone quality photos but I had to share this moment some how... the concert was exactly what I expected and I had the best time. The next day we went and got Japanese in the city at a cute little hidden restaurant in Elizabeth arcade and shopped a little.

UNDER THE SEA

Spot the octopus...

So I just got back from a school camp in Bundaberg. Since it was a school camp there was a lot of assessment required but I still managed to have some fun. We stayed in tents at a caravan park right on the beach and lets just say I wont be staying in a tent any time soon. The highlight of the camp was a snorkeling day trip to Lady Elliot island. The boat ride in was rough and I was lucky enough to not get sea sick.

DIY: FABRIC FLOWERS

Last night I was feeling crafty and my lovely Mum taught me how to make these fabric flowers. They are super cute but I am still yet to decide what I'll do with them...
