GOING OUT

I'm wearing: Forever 21 skirt + socks, Asos Ren boots, BooHoo mesh tee, Sportsgirl purse and Asos top

Club fashion is a pretty tragic situation if you ask me and I thought i’d shed some light on my go- to going out outfit!

When I haven't already worn my favourite shirts a few weekends in a row I usually opt for a lace or mesh top. I have quite the selection of these tops as they are my favourite thing to wear out.
Today I wore a little top from ASOS under my mesh tee but the options are endless! I also love wearing sequin and plain bralette’s under my lace/mesh tops.

I’m not a big fan of the small top, super tight skirt and white clunky heels paired with the cheapest fake tan on the shelf It seems to be the look that every other girl is going for. (Which is fine just not my style before you freak out in the comments)
So after being legal for a year now I have finally found what I feel most comfortable wearing out!

If you're fresh to the clubbing scene… here are some things to consider when choosing an outfit :
  • Will your sweat be noticeable after groovin' too hard
  • If you come across the problem of having to walk home.. will you last the trek in those shoes?
  • If you bend over is your butt on show?
  • Is that too much cleavage?
  • Do you really want people to see your drinking belly?
Leave some mystery with your outfits no one needs to see everything at first glance. I always say either choose cleavage and not too much leg or too much leg and no boobies.

I’m off to a festival in Brisbane tomorrow so i’ll talk to you guys in a few days with all the deets and what I wore there!

DIY FLUFFY SANDALS

I'm Wearing: Topshop shirt, Paint It Red skirt, DIY sandals and Sunglasses from a festival

So the fluffy heel trend is pretty much in all our faces but me being a 6foot giant it’s not really ideal for me to wear heels all the time and I hadn't seen any fluffy sandals. So I decided to create some of my own for a ridiculously cheap price. I got sandals from Rubi shoes for ten dollars, one metre of fluff for five dollars and glue for ten dollars.
I didn't bother photographing step my step instructions on how to make these sandals because I think you guys will be able to do it just fine!

YOU WILL NEED:
Sandals or shoes of your choice
Glue (i used araldite because it's meant to be super strong)
Scissors
Measuring tape
a plastic plate & knife (Don’t use your mums fav cutlery to spread the glue because it really doesn't come off)

Let me know in the comments below if you’ve made some of these yourself, I would love to see!

WHATS IN MY BAG

Today's post: WHAT'S IN MY BAG!! Um lot's of activity objects that probably don’t need to be there but I have a very short attention span. Well, you know how it is when your family packs up the fridge for a family day out... you need to be ready for any situation!

Phone: Because we all need to keep up to date

Purse: It's way too adorable not to enjoy and shopping, just shopping full stop

Book: Just started this book! So I cant leave it at home

Nintendo DS: Old habits die hard. Just the odd game

Sunglasses: I like being able to see... so protect those eyes ladies

Headphones: They're pretty ridiculous, but they deliver a fabulous personal disco

IPod: Beats. Always

Lipgloss: I recently watched The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and realised pale pink lip gloss is fabulous

Sharpie: Still questioning why I have this

Hair tie: My hair occasionally feels like a heat blanket, so yes

Loose change: Just germs really, not a huge fan, but having money is great

Lip Balm: I love this lip balm! It's natural and does wonders

Keys: God knows where they went

I'm constantly switching bags and cleaning them out so I realise I'm not photographing the disgusting gum packets and countless receipts, but they do exist. I didn't bother posting all the images of my most used bags as the lighting was horrendous and I'm no photographer! But they are scattered all over my blog.
